Did you think about beer at all? When we try to push thoughts away, they don’t do as they’re told. When we resist, thoughts persist. So, if we have a negative thought that makes us feel uncomfortable, and we try to push it away or bury it, what tends to happen is that the thought grows and as it gets bigger and stronger, it can take hold of us and cause problems.

We’ll never be able to control our mind, but we can train it, and that’s what we learn in Mindfulness. You don’t have to control your thoughts, you just have to stop letting them control you. Let’s have a look at how…
